Hi all
Got a 2002 FE650 that started getting a lot of oil coolant in the engine oil. Thinking I should replace the water shaft seal (maybe one of those fancy jobs Taffmeister has?). I was surprised when I took the clutch cover off, and there was another seal on the inside! Look at the pics to...
My rocker arm shaft had to be replaced so Im replacing it with the ones from a KTM 500 2012. The reason is that they have a machined flat line along the shaft so more oil can flow for lubrication. Same price, same dimensions but a bit better due to this.
Just a small tip.
The new KTM shaft...
Howdy All,
Looking into older threads, on the forum, this is a inherent problem with 70 deg bergs. But there is no definitive solution posted. So I thought I would tap into any thoughts.
Oil leaking from where the shift shaft spline comes out.
The shift shaft has a shaft seal ring (ktm...
Hi guys, my rocker shaft seized to the rocker due to the crankcase oil strainer clogging up with clutch material and lack of oil to the head. I need to figure out a way to "extract" the shaft. Throw any ideas you have a me. It's soaking in penetrating oil atm and I have tried using a slide...
Hi
When i assembled the two housing halves, i could not turn the balancers shaft without using a spanner. I remember there was a spacer when i disassembled the balancer from the crank, and i did put it between the crank and balancer. Is that right?
I assume i should manage to turn around...
Road riding and Cushdrives V's counter shaft failure
Hey guys we know that our bikes are prone to counter shaft wear, and many believe that the issue of the soft counter shaft can be elevated by the addition of a crush drive hub. A new rear wheel is costly (though most of you probably already...
Hi all
Want to share this experience with you guys, on my FE400-02 I was having an oil leak from the sprocket shaft, and it was making a mess. A bit irritating
First I thought it was the seal, and changed it, but it wasn't, the mess continued ...
Looked again and noticed...
What bearing do you guys use for the balancer drive shaft?
OEM is 6905 J1LLUC3
The bearing agent has informed me that this is a 'special' bearing rated for higher speed, and he cannot supply that bearing.
Also, there is no 'normal' 6905 C3 sealed bearing he can supply me with.
He can...
Hello everyone!
Have bought old 1999 FC400 cross bike with broken kickstarter shaft
Where is the best place to buy it? As far as I understood it's 00010706 part number from this catalogue (it's 17 on the picture)...
Hello guys. There is a seal under the bearing which number is "0625 062013". It was not seems on part diagram. So where can i buy this seal? It seems it is a special seal and i can not find it anywhere.
Thanks.
Hi all
I have a very slow oil leak from my gear selector shaft, where it pops out from the left side engine case. As far as I know its a simple o-ring fix and most bergs do it to a certain degree anyway, but mine is beginning to get worse. Im going to tackle it before it completely lets go...
Hi!
While rebuilding the Husaberg Fs650 2002 engine, I noticed that I don´t for sure know how this kickstarter shaft should be monted. It need to be synchronized with the decomp on the other side of the shaft. I tried to mount it as I thought it should me mounted but I am not sure (on the...
Hej guys,
What side does the shaft seal of the crankshaft have to face? The spring facing the inside (crankshaft) or the outside? husaberg fs 570 2010

Kawasaki Part#92049-0104
This seal, being used by some as a replacement of the OEM, is double-lipped and 5mm deep vs 4mm of the stock.
Does anyone know if the extra depth of the seal will block off the weep hole inlet?
Thanks.
Steve
