My question is do the carb need to reset.
I mean much leaner or richer??

just wondering what the best protection is across that radiator? not worried about the beauty of it-just protection and letting air get through!
was told years ago that the exit was as important as the entry and that the entry should be smaller not larger than the CSA of the rad. :shock...

In a quest for more power i am considering a revised air intake setup on my FC600 / 41mm FCR setup.
Since the ideal airflow characteristic for a carb intake is laminar flow with minimal resistance, the 90deg inlet rubber on the back of the carb to me seems like a major compromise...
I have always noticed a bit of water collecting in the bottom of the carb intake boot after washing.
Even after a ride I can see the residue of dirty water that has left a few streaks inside the carb boot.
I have found that the water gets in at the top of the rubber along the flat side of...
