Excuse my ignorance if this is covered somewhere but I cant find it.
I am after identification of the 2 air bleeds that are drilled when moding the Dellorto.
I have made my 40 slide into a 45 and now I want to try the rest of the changes.
Thanks

In the great Aussie tradition of disposing of a worn out rear tyre.
Whilst mid burnt out a large amount of smoke came from the exhaust, After inspection the compression seems OK. but there is a heap of oil in the frame / air box.
How is it so? should I be really concerned?
Does anyone here use DNA air filters on their Enduros? I know it's popular on the motards. It is similar to K&N in construction. I had a K&N on my CR500 dirtbike with good response. The motor breathed better. I know some feel the foam is better for the dust, but you know I am usually out in...
Hi All.
Had the head off to fix a dodgy valve guide and noticed a water jacket air bleed screw between the exhaust ports. Are there any others?
Cheers Phil.
I fall down last saturday with my FE650 while hillclimibing, some oil went into the airbox and than was almost impossible to start the engine.
Q1: What if I make a hole in the bottom of the air box and cover it with some filter element so that it works as drainage?
Q2: Is there any ohter...
I know this must read like a stupid question, but does a new foam air cleaner for a Husaberg need to be oiled? Aren't all foam air cleaners required to be oiled before use?

Hey guys
Went for a decent ride this weekend and struck a wee problem.
Every time i started to give it the berries for more then a minute or so my bike started to miss and blow smoke and when i stopped there was oil dripping from my side air filter.
It was also starting to get a bit cranky...
I have sucumbed and bought an ex 2003 WR 450 fcr39 carb to fit to my 2002 400 FE (Fixermans old bike) and have already hit a stumbling block , I can't seem to find the main air jet ,looking at the diagrams on the Sudco site it should be next to the pilot air jet at the rear of the carb ,but...
I was looking around on ebay and I found DNA air filters for huseys. They are K&N style and have lifetime warranty. Look good, cost a lot , 59.00+ shipping. I wiil have to have one eventually. Just thought you folks should know about a new aftermarket product for Bergs, we dont see enough of...
I´ve just services my forks, and want to put the oil in, but were do i measure the air champer? From top off the oil to top off inner tupe or outer tube??
I have been thinking about making some air intake covers to put in place of your filter while washing your Berg. How many people from the UHE would be interested? I have not drawn them out yet or figured cost, I just want to get an idea if the market is there.
All,
I looked through the forum a bit but didn't see anything usefull other than the '05 Venting Posts...
I took my '05 fe 650 for its first long ride. I got in about 190 miles on day 1 no issues. Day two, we did about 30 mile on the beach, wide open in 6th followed by some reasonably...

I can't find the air bleed screw on the head of my 98 fe400e. Is there one and if so where is the darn thing? The manual says nothing about it.
Thanks,
