hehe, I've talked to him, but I don't know if he'll ever own another one. Once you have a bad taste in your mouth from something, it's hard to overcome it. His only experience w/a Berg happened to be one of the biggest pieces of crap on this planet :D. He didn't even want to ride mine last week!!! BLASPHEMY!

I will continue working on him though. I'm creating a subliminal tape that I plan to play at his house while he's sleeping. It says things like "You want a Husaberg. Sell your KTM. Blue and Yellow! You're brother's better looking than you." Then it loops. That last part in there is simply for my benefit.

thanks,

Tell Husyodaddy to do like every one else who has had a turd in their mouth . Brush your teeth and try another bite.
For christs sake don't bring in all the posers and b.s.ers. The best thing about this site is 99.9% of the posters are honest with their advice and know what they are talking about. Some like me may not have the best answer all the time but we will not give advise that we know doesn't work or bs our way through it. We tell what our experiences good or bad have been.
I go on TT because ( Yes I know I'm a looser) to find stuff about the DRZ. And the Frog is right you wont find that any where else... BUT half of what is on there is plain CRAP.
And another thing, talk about personalities getting stomped on and flames started. I am 50 years old and know how slow or fast I am and always have been and don't need to give or receive an attitude from some wet diaper pimple face wannabe kid. Or some A$$ h**** that hates cops wants to tell me how I must ruin every ones life that won't kiss my ***. On this site I believe that when there are differences in opinion we hash it out but it doesn't get personal. The members here have something that is important to each other holding us together. If we wanted to be like every one else we would have bought a Hond* or Ya88aha or a KT****inM. No we love our Husabergs through good and bad broke or no parts. That is what makes the members here so special. WE HAVEN'T JUMPED SHIP for the latest trend or when we had a problem. Talk about valve problems My buddy had a kx250f and it ate them like FRYGUY downs beers.
Do one thing and do it the best!!!! You already do!!!!!!!
WHAT THE HELL IS THE NAME OF THIS SITE???????

In closing I would like to thank every one for letting me get on my box, or doing what ever Taffy said the mayor did ( dude you need to learn english). OK BYE

What could the KTMtalk possibly have to offer Husaberg owners?
I think they should have a link to this site instead of an actual forum over there.
I have to admit, I was over there whilst in the mist of a Husaberg as my next purchase. Hanging over there now would be like leaving the wife at home and hanging out at a bar talking trash. It's an evil temptation.. Away Satan!

As I read this thread, I was thinking that all that I had wanted had been said by Dale and Taffy. Then comes the mayor, or Bobzilla I mean and no relation to that mayor that Taffy referred to. The man speaks such wisedom, except for the beer consumption comment, don't start anything you can't finish.

Stay true brothers

I like Dales question: What is UHE?

Even here in Europe Bergs are some kind of
exotic. Some people like them, some hate them
and the most didn't ever heard about them.
Special people ride special bikes...

As I discovered this (american/international) forum
I was amazed because there is noting similar on
the net:
A melting pot for H U S A B E R G Enthusiasts!

IMHO please leave it this way!

Maddel

i checked out in decending order who were posting the most posts here at UHE. as i checked down the european/anzac scribes were just a member or two behind the USA/canada; 10-8, 20-17, 30-27 etc etc.

the site users (the important bit is 'users') ratio is about 53/47% USA and canada to the rest.

truly an international site! given that english is the spoken language here i imagine it could be a lot higher.

regards

Taffy

KEEP IT ALL HUSABERG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is what this site has been and shoud be. KTMTalk has had a "euro" section for a long time. I am regular at TT because I now ride a Husqvarna and I have a lot of friends in the "SOUTHWEST" section whre we talkabout rides etc... When I and some other UHE members see anyone ask about HUSABERGS in thier "exotic" section we allways say "go to HUSABERG.ORG for all your needs, it's the best site around.

Thank You Jason for keeping this site going.

My next bike will be another BERG, now if they wuld ust make biggr tank.

re: that's all, Folks!

Hi Kraig,

First, let me say how happy you've made me w/the news that you'll be back on a Berg sometime in the future! I've missed your visits.

I understand everyone's points, and agree with you that we should not try to talk about other makes. I viewed it as more of a "lounge" setting, not to be used for down and dirty talk, instead having a link to KTMT at a sticky thread at the top.

I don't think I've ever done anything to the site without:

a) first asking the members
b) going with the majority's decision

and take pride in that. I think that's where I differ from DR, TT and KTMT. They tell you about the new things, and I ask. I think that's what makes a better site; allowing the members to decide what they get.

Taffy, I'm glad you feel that way RE: the UHE being an international site. Not too long ago, you were having words w/someone on this site, and stated that the site was an American site, and you didn't feel you could have a balanced argument without being bashed for being an "outsider". I told you then and still believe that we're a well balanced international site run by the members.

Just as an aside, husyodaddy said today that he'd rather not have a KTM section anymore, because he feels the same as Brendan; that it would either look like we had done it out of spite, or that we were trying to copy KTMT's success.

good times,

Powercell, dont be confused.............Taffy has big shoulders and can take it. He also has good armor. BASH AWAY

Jason I have to agree that this is an international site and the thing that strikes me is that some of the people from country's that are not English speaking speak and spell and have better grammer than me! ( not saying much)hahaha and then they appoligise for having poor command of the language. It just amazes me that we ( the UGLY AMERICANS ) are not nearly as educated as the rest of the world and we make fun of them. Man are we DUM or what? :p

KTM:

Test the water.
Please visit and review the following link as it pertains to KTM:

Please read the entire thread keeping in mind that Joe Kopp (JOPP43) is a factory KTM rider and my friend.

Meet Joe Kopp:

For those of you too lazy to read the entire thread behold my final point in quote:
"I Personally believe the LC8 was shelved as a result of it being old technology. When KTM acquired Husaberg they promptly replaced their LC4 single with that of a Husaberg design. I would be more on the lookout for a "Husaberg like" V2 from KTM as opposed to that of additional LC8 based equipment. As a Husaberg purist I am quite obviously biased and do have a bit of an ax to grind regarding KTM Austria."

Sincerely,
Dale

If you feel compelled to add another brand to the site the best and only fit would be a Highland forum.

Brett are you taking notice: H I G H L A N D Born out of Husaberg and made in Sweden.

Hurry up and get that domain and redirect registered!![web]http://www.highland.se/home/photos/photo01l.jpg[/web]

"I would truly hate to see this site diluted with KTM content"

Ditto! You want to talk ktm just go there, Stay true to the Berg!

I was just thinking what makes this site special.

1. Husaberg only

2. Never had to wait longer than a few hours for an answer to a dumb question.

3. The sense of belonging to something. A very exclusive club.

I can honestly say that I would've been lost without this site after purchasing my Berg.

KTM... soon to be the poor relation of Husaberg

I'm sure Taffy has a whole bunch of armor to bash us with, BUT I STILL CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS SAYING!

That is because after riding in Utah, Taffy wants to be an American!

i'd like to see json's quote for real. did i really say that? don't think so! what i believe i said was that TT made any non-USA people feel complete, er! well foreigners!

but that i'd hate to see UHE go that way. i've never felt a stranger here. if i said it well, i don't recognise it.

i'm happy to live in my rain soaked country and clean ma teeth once in a lifetime!

at least with our weather we NEVER have a groundhog day!

regards

Taffy

May I complete the discussion please ?

I think that it's great for KTMTalk to have a Husaberg forum, as it will drive "curious" orange bike owners to our site. I agree that TT (and probably KT) is populated by a large percentage of idiotic mouth breathers who are full of questions and hot air. But those won't be the ones who come to visit us here :)

Regarding an orange forum here on the UHE ? Can't see a reason for it. **** on a sheep. Hmmm....

Cheers,

Brett Saunders
