I would like to offer to husaberg they separate their the Enduro and MX departments and build a 'FC' machine exclusively for motocross.
1. A must... slim-line the fuel tank.
2. The FC250 would be another step to keeping with the market. It would be my next bike.
I get alot of completments on how fast and how big of a rooster tail the bike will launch. It does draw a crowd with curious lookers on Sweden's techology.
Another "problem" with not having a larger product line is dealer recruitment. Lets say that I wanted to start a small Husaberg dealership. It would probably be hard to make it unless the mechanical labor sales were fairly consistent (save the jokes) and overhead low. So my only options would be to take on other product lines which now will compete with the Husabergs I am trying to sell. If I happen to land a popular brand dealership to go along with Husaberg where do you think my resources will go if I sell more popular brand bikes.
So in order for Husaberg to grow they need to take care of their established dealerships and add many more. This can only be done by giving a potential Husaberg dealer a fuller product line so that it will not be necessary to add other brands which will only serve to dilute sales.
If anyone disagrees and thinks this kind of thinking is wrong then why is KTM offering yet again another splinter in its ever expanding line of products.
What I would like to see most out of BMG, is some type of great financing program with no prepayment penalties, 6 months same as cash, 5% or less interest rate, up to a 5 year term. That would make a purchase decision so much easier for me.
