what spark plug and fuel

in the uk only use shell optimax or esso as high an octain as you can get.plugs i use ngk iridium.
 
You don't say where you're from but any good quality fuel in the highest octane you can get is best.
I'm using standard NGK plug and never had any dramas. You can buy a box of them for the price of an iridium.
The iridium are supposed to last forever but I'm not sure if they get less deposits or foul up less etc

I used to run a standard plug & now notice how clean the iridium one is compared. I'm with coastie on getting the highest octane unleaded you can. In Australia, BP make "Ultimate" which is 98 octane. Dont quote me, but Caltex make "Vortex" & I think it also has 98 octane rating. Normal premium unleaded is only 95 with standard unleaded being 93.

Is the same in England ?
 
Hey wildman when you say the iridium plug is cleaner - how many hours and is there any noticeable performance increase?
BTW standard unleaded is only 91 lousy octane. Caltex Vortex, BP Ultimate and Mobil 9000 are all 98. Shell VPower100 is 100RON but contains some ethanol so I don't know if this is a good thing or not.
Seems to be a bit of an argument going on with the ethanol addition. I use it sometimes and it seems OK.
