what is your 2nd choice ???

a gas-gas 300 for value, a fully tuned sherco 2.5i for racing (as well) or a new 450 husey for next year if i had the dosh!

For woods / single track / enduro I wouldn't go past the KTM 250 EXC-F.

I had an '07 factory ISDE version until just recently, absolutely fanatastic bike, so easy to ride, so competent, light etc etc

For open touring would be keen to try a 950/990 Super Enduro

But the next bike I will buy will be an '09 570 Berg !!!

Funny how nobody wants a US bike. No H-D, no Buell... Nobody wants to wrench in British units?

Seriously I would not mind an Electricross the day they can carry my 100 kgs on a trail for 5 hours... Which could happen before then end of the decade.

Oh and yes, the 2WD Christini bikes look like a lot of fun.

can i reply to my own thread ? :paranoid:

gimme a CR 500R , one on those USA service hondas

If I was riding on the street I would be on a Ducati Hypermotard or that supermoto designed by Enzo Ferarri's son, and for the dirt I would probably be back on a Honda CRF450X I grew up on the Hondas and feel really comfortable on them. I haven't ridden a CRF but I have heard good things about them.

okay, now we are coming out of left field (well not out of the dirt n e way), who wouldnt go for a super motard anyway, i mean if you are going to ride on tar, sheesh! gimme whatevr is going, Husky, aprilla(?), katoom, HUSABERG!!! - well there is only one real standout there eh?

I'd give me lefty for a set of supermoto wheels for me 550!

My 2nd choice would be KTM or Husky but my 2nd bike would be this,
YamahaTenere6602008_02.jpg

3 bikes I want in my garage to ride...an 08 TE610 (loved our 07 demo), a Triumph Scrambler (just cool!) and a Berg FE450...if no Berg existed...likely a husky tc or txc450 or even a Sherco 4.5i...Orange bikes are everywhere and do nothing for me and I've had Yamahas and Hondas.

Sure I'm biased, but I don't sell Triumphs, and I really really like the bikes we sell...the others mentioned are ok. It really makes my job easier when you believe in the products you sell. I'm thinking, that if I sold KTMs too, I would still pick a berg.
