A momentous day Bergites!
My 501 is back home and running better than ever... after being trailered since Easter, at easter i had my engine freshened by DCR, great job done excellent service. when i got the bike back together i then proceeded to snap the kickstart shaft.... problems started when i was sent the wrong parts twice on the trot this process taking a few weeks as the parts had to be ordered, i dont think it was anyones fault just that no -one knows what parts will fit on a berg this old nowadays, anyway to his credit Dave said he would arrange for the whole bike to be picked up by supermoto ace Andy Mitchell and taken to preston, eventually the right parts were found and fitted, with the labour FREE OF CHARGE. The bike then delivered back to my door by Andy Mitchell. I'd like to thank Dave for the great service and let all the other UK Berg owners who dont already know it... Dave Clarke - TOP BLOKE! followed closely by Andy Mitchell of course haha.
