Uk rides???

Hi There,
new to the forum and wondering how many of you uk riders get out greenlaning. i have plenty of motox experience and im new to greenlaning. im based in the west midlands but can get to most places. there are two of us on bergs looking for some good trails.
 
hi mate
not sure where u are in w mids,i take it brum/worcester way.salisbury plain (have u herd of it?) is about 2hrs from there, that is worth a day out.then theres also wales

i saw a video of some1 stuck there earlier. and have heard its quite good. just looking for a group ride when people go down so im not on my own!!

That ride looks good!! realy up for something like that. always good to try new routes and meet new people. its going to be july before i can get out now but should definatly organise a trip.

yep that was me.i could show u & few mates around if you like,but its bit hard for me to plan as iv normally got stuff on so i could only probly give a weeks notice max if thats any good

yeah still sounds good mate just inbox me on here aswell. i think im gunna go a couple of enduroland events aswell this year.Its gunna be next month when im available now anyway but i realy fancy a ride out down some different lanes.

i never fake it taffster,the real deal :D (yeh rito)

i know a fair bit of the plain so no problem there.also looking somewhen in july but will probably be 3rd or 4th wk as away wk 1 & might be on the pop wk 2.i dont mind leading a group of 5 or 6 max as it goes bloody dusty & just gets a pain in the arse waiting for everyone to come thro the dust cloud

end of july sounds good to me as i go on holiday soon. where will u post the ride information?
 
james (arkley123) and I will give it a bash if you want to name a date and place? we will try and do 1.75 days riding. arrive saturday am for a 9am start.

no probs mate.so were be looking one of the last 2 wkends in july.il pm u nearer the time when i get bk frm stag doo around the 10th.how many of you coming mate.taffy are you coming aswell
 
tbh i think one day would be enough for the plain otherwisw would bew going round in circles,its not like wales where u need atleast 2 days
 
well then we need to turn into another direction for a light mornings work I think. give me the rough coordinates of where we're going and I'll have a word with the TRF or something....

I can sort a days ride in the Meon Valley, (north of Portsmouth to Alton)........ might mean a drive to a campsite after The Plain to minimise road riding on sunday though.

Can only do the end of July though...........after the weekend of the 16-17th.
