just thought i'd tell ya'all that the UK is cheap as chips for parts and bikes at present.
i've been getting my stuff abroad in europe and caught a cold. one day i was paying the same (checked the prices) the next i'm paying 40-60% more.
the first time i spotted this was when jockular got some throttle cables for £35 inc in the UK and i got them from europe for £50. then last week i sorted the UK price for a clutch hub and it was £50 inc and i had mine up for £75inc.
so to defend myself here i'll say that i'm on UK prices FULL STOP but there are great benefits to that for anyone from europe or america for coming over here.
our bikes are for sale for £6,400 while in mainland europe they are now E10,200 euros inc which is about £9,000. that gives you some idea of the saving you get by coming to the UK.
why?
well there is an agreement i believe that prices will remain the same for a period of time until KTM have had a chance to "re-structure" their prices correctly. you have the pound, the dollar, canadian dollar, the scando kronnas, iceland, australian dollar etc etc. ALL THIS RE-STRUCTURING TAKES TIME.
apparently, prices are now ready to be 'corrected' over here!
so get it while ya can!!!!
regards
