Oh mate! That's bad news. Done my ribs a couple of times, enduro and 5 a side football but the pain is nothing like having an engine break!
Pob lwc y chi.

That's bad news Mats, wish you get better soon that you can return working on the bike. Had my ribs cracked 7 weeks ago... that's about the time it takes to recover.

Get well soon!

Get well soon ...ribs will heal, but the bike needs you ...it's been a long way and you nearly got there ...

Wish you the best
Paolo

Aiiii, no way!!, that’s awful. Get well soon. Góðan bata meistari. It is clear how much you’ve put into this project - more blood sweat and tears than is the ordinary. My sincere thanks for all the inspiration.

Thanks for the "condoleances" lads!
I have broken my ribs a couple of times before, but I had forgotten the icky feeling of the loose bone ends clonking against each other. Luckily I surround myself with boring and healthy people, to help me keep away from laughing and sneezing!

The two flawless test starts encouraged me to make one lap and then enter the pits to inspect the gears. Who could imagine that it would hit the fan in less than a minutes easy drive! I was lucky not to take it for a traditional spin to the next village in my mechanic trousers and a t-shirt...

I hope to get som assistance in taking the engine out of the frame, so I can determine what caused the riot. The fibre reinforced bakelit gear is the main suspect, but I need to be sure.

Either way, I could see that the engine is running very smooth and with much less vibrations. The concept was successful. The design needs apparently some improvements, so I'd better get on it! I haven't come this far by giving up, and I'm sure as hell not starting now!

My son was also attending the track with his power monster (KTM RC125, 15hp) and he was proudly noticing the reduction of the "chicken stripes" on the sides of the rear wheel! :)

I´m active in a swedish motorcycle forum with more frequent updates about my tech geek stuff. When I informed about the latest misfortune, one random nice guy started a collection, just like that! So now some 20 people have given a few buck each, but it sums up to something substantial. I was very surprised and got all fuzzy inside, so I just had to finish another video! So here is one for your morning coffee!

Ribs are healing as expected and my machinist are purchasing new material. I may be down, but not broken, well except for some minor bones that is...

Have you found some of my videos, other material or support valuable, interesting, shocking or fun? Here is a possibility to sponsor my technical adventures, put that monster Husaberg on the track and keeping those videos coming!

I created a pool at PayPal, where it is possible for you to sponsor my mental mechanical therapy:

I hope this works?!

Thank you guys in advance for all the kind words and encouragement!
