just seen this and its a real loss.
met him when we ran a WEC round in 2008.
Seemed a real nice chap.
all the more tragic as he announced his retirement frm full time WEC competition at the beginning of the year.
according to some reports he's been in hospital for several weeks following a training crash and has now succumed to his injuries.

he always sounded so calm ,casual & happy on the interviews, but went like a shower a $hit. dead set that man was riding like he was on rails.

Talking to a few folks over the weekend who said he'd crashed about 3 weeks ago and whilst his injuries were not that serious he was kept in hospital as he wasnt feeling right, any more than you'd expect, then all of a sudden he just died.
