Synergy Seals X-bushing

Hello all! Just wanted to give a quick report on the Synergy X-Bushing I just installed. Install was very straight forward and the part that took the longest was grinding away to get the proper fit.

However, I'm happy to report that for me the combination of the low seat and the x-bushing has made my life so much easier on my 10 FE390. I think it lowered the seat by just about an inch, and the low seat lowers it another 15mm (about .6 inches i believe).

I put about 35 miles in today and noticed no real difference in handling characteristics (a good thing) but the added help from a lower seat height was fantastic. I'm 5'6 with a 29" inseam so the insane height of the Berg always drove me crazy!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and was hoping you could give me any input on your fe390,..I have a 2004 Husqvarna te250 that I may sell and I'm looking at a 2011 fe390.

I to am 5'.6" and sat on the 390 for the first time today, and I would need some Jean Simins boots to touch the grou .

If you could ,please let me know your thoughts on this bik...like's and dislike's

Thanks

Hi Leo,
I'm also a 29" inseam and teeter on the bike - feel like I'm going to dump it just shifting into first to take off! Once underway I'm fine, but forget about dabbing a toe in rough terrain. The low seat helped, but I'm still far from getting both toes down at the same time.

Are you able to touch both toes down? I don't need to flat foot it, but the balls of both feet, or even both toes, would be a huge improvement.

I've been thinking of just getting the shock and forks shortened an inch. I have read some conflicting opinions on the X-Bushing; be interested in getting your review after you've had a chance to ride it a bit more.

Hi guys, I also installed xbushing, low seat and lowered forks in the clamps 7/8's. Resulted in much more confidence dabbing and less tip overs. 5'5' / 29" in seam, 11-FE390. Im very happy with end results.

I have the X-bushing in my 570 but for A TOTALLY DIFFERENT REASON to you lads!

I have done it to check the anti squat levels at various positions.

there will be a difference in handling if you ride the bike hard enough. basically as you leave a corner cranked over and hit the throttle the bike will squat at the rear and aim for the inside fence!

there is a way to get over this and that is to drop the front of the engine. on the ol girls that's easy but on the LDCs well......

I thought the bolt fit through the X-bushing was criminal BTW. It has about 0.3 - 0.4mm of slop. not good enough.

regards

Taffy

Very sorry for not seeing the responses to the thread before now.

At my height, even with the x bushing and low seat i can get the balls of my feet down 1 foot only. So... if you're new to riding, probably not going to work. I can make do with it. Any lower and i'm sure i'd be bumping rocks and stuff because of clearance issues.
