Screw in end cap removal?

I have had 09 berg 570 for 11 months, looking for info on the positives and negatives of removing the screw in end cap will I have to adjust FI Mapping to suit?

remove and let bike tick over for 5mins , it will adjust to suit.

ride it for 10 hours and I'd bet the cap ain't there. I'd say positives is the cap ain't going to fall out again and negatives are it's a little louder than stock (but still pretty stealth).
Read up on the (koozman?) type spark arrestor if you're worried about that (it's still there).

I tightened mine because I had been warned they fall out. It fell out anyways during the first hour of break-in, mellow riding.
