If there's still leaking after mounting the tank on the brackets, I'll fill the tank for a few days to see if it conforms to the mounting points. If not, sounds like the smart option, but slightly spendy, is to extend the mounting points in the front and rear. IF all else fails, I'll have to find another way to carry fuel.

Its not expensive at all. The welder at the muffler shop charged me 40$ and its worth paying the 40 than trying to work around other stuff. It makes your job so easy to install it or remove it on the field if u have a problem later.
