It's been a long time since the berg has been in a 24 hr test, wow, and soon again!!! I remember the tests in the 90s, while I worked in a Honda and Yamaha shop, being a Honda fan at the time, I was always disappointed to see this exotic Husaberg come in and slay everything in sight!!!! Oh how I yearn for that reading again.

The reading room awaits!

Fork stack

AJT, you wouldn't want to share the valve stack setup you like from your 520 here in the forums would ya? It would be interesting to compare that with some of our stock Berg set-ups. Does the 520 have 48mm forks? BD

Gentlemen,
Back to the original post, It just so happens that I own a business doing vinyl graphics. I have been thinking for a while now about doing something with it to help out this great site. Now seems to be an opportune time. Legally I can't sell you a copyrighted logo. However, maybe with Jsons help we could arrange for you to receive a "gift" :D when you make a donation to the UHE. Json, let me know what you think.

BD,
The 520 has the 43mm forks but internally the valve should be close if not identical if I remember right. I will share after I have tried and know how the set-up works on a Berg.

TEAKA,
Cool Idea! Can you do Backgrounds?

Oh Yea!

I may be interested in a "gift". The one shown is the perfect size. It sure would look sweet on the back of the trailer. :D

Tail gate Husaberg

I spoke to the Gary at Vallejo Sign Co in Vallejo - 707 642 2233
The Husaberg sticker 10"X32", in case anyone was wondering, he quoted $35 plus tax, shipping. It's a two piece (color) process. Not sure how easy it is to apply. He said that he could make a screen, which sounded like a one piece process. But that would require a minimum order. I think he said 20. Which would drop the price to around $24 each +t/s.
Sounds like a deal!

Two Piece Vinyl Application

Applying that two piece vinyl is an art form.
I watched Gary apply it to my truck, completely bubble-free, and I doubt that I could duplicate his performance.
That being said however, he says that it's "easy" if you use water, so the vinyl can slide around a bit.
A meticulous person could probably handle it :)
