Thanks.

I have been following the progress. I recalled that some mention had been made of a new expected date of completion, but I could not easily find it, so I thought I would ask.

Until I get a job offer I don't want to say that I have a job, but often such things can happen very quickly. Sometimes prospects look real promising and then they fall through. If the job comes from out of state then I would have to move, possibly very quickly, so I needed that datapoint to know if I could fit it into my schedule. OTOH, it might take some more months to find a job - I won't know until I have an offer letter in hand. *shrug*

Dale, The only navigation I can do on your web site is send you an email. I'm using Firefox as a web browser, but no links or tabs to pictures or latest news. BTW - I sent you an email on this through your site.

Yes there is a problem viewing the web site with FF. I have brought this to web site's admin's attention. I use FF for 99.9% of my web browsing but have to use IE to see the links. I'm going to fwd this post to admin again.

I know this is really lame, but, if you do not have IE on your machine and only have FF.........IF you move the cursor around on the bottom of the page you will see it turn to the little hand when it comes to a site navigation link, just click then and it will take you to the different pages on the site. There are six tabs across the bottom just below the 70.

Dale has informed me of this problem and I have contacted our web host in hopes they will be able to find a solution. I will post information concerning their response ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for update
I was just getting ready to ask about the sub tank completion date, I would rather wait a few extra weeks and have it perfect
I going to Nevada for two weeks with some 150 mile rides planned
I will do what I've been doing all winter, care a gallon or more of gas in the back pack
The sub tank will be great, but my legs are in great shape from careing the extra weigh of gas in my backpack
I guess when I get the tank I will have to put rocks in the backpack to work the legs and keep my balance the same
have a great ride
haskell in idaho

I just brought up Internet Explorer and I can get to Dale's links.

BTW - The time and dates of posts or replies are not shown with Firefox either. Comes up with percent symbols and numbers.

For those of you that are using FF like me, what version are you using? I talked with my friend today and he was using FF 3.5 and said he had no problem navigating our web site with it.

Allow me to clarify the shipping policy.

For customers here in the U.S., we have 2 flat rate amounts for shipping. The cost is calculated into your total when you "check out" on the web site and the shipping charge depends on the amount of product you purchase. You must include your zip code and please give the exact shipping address on Pay Pal.

For "international customers"....Once you submit the order and payment for the items you want from the website, we will then find the most affordable means of shipping. John at 70 Degrees Racing will then contact you via e-mail with the cost for the shipping You will then submit a second payment (for shipping) thru Pay Pal to [email protected]

If you have any questions, please contact John at the e-mail address above.

are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet ? I'm keen as mustard for one of these things :bounce:

I fired up the old computer today and it had version 2.0.0.9. and it worked fine, and a buddy of mine who's work uses FF said it worked fine for him. So I'm on it, going to keep trying older versions and see where the problem started.

BTW Dale... Not that you haven't heard this already, but nice job on the tank. I'm waiting for a picture of your tank on a bike with everything back on it - seat, exhaust, rear light. My FE450 is street legal and has led rear turn signals so I would have to figure something out there. No worries.

I had the whole subframe dismounted last week, it looks exactly like the picture dale is showing, you just cant believe why husaberg didnt do this in the first place. ( good for you, dale!)

i Couldnt wait for Dale to be ready, so im riding with the Aqualine option, but converted the subrame into a watertank. (emergancy drinking water) Having done this, and somehow succeding, i can surely advisde everybody to by the 70Degree tank AND NOT to convert the subframe to a gastank yourself. leaks, holes and all sorts of issues await you!

good job Dale,
JW

Thanks for the accolades guys, however it's not just my tank it's 70 Degree Racing's tank and I'm just a part of it. John Wiser, is also part of the team. Just want to make sure credit is given where credit is due!

This is basically what I want to do.

Several things:

a) If water leaks, then little harm is caused. No fire danger, nothing gets eroded from the water, etc.
b) Gas is much more of a solvent than water, so sealing the subframe should be less of an issue with water.

I still want the subframe tank from 70 Deg. in addition to Aqualine tanks, but there may be times when I want to use the stock subframe as an emergency water tank.

I have no idea why Husaberg didn't do this, they did put much of the tank under the seat, so why not also use the subframe??

Waiting, waiting, ....argghh... it's killing me. :)
But! It's very good to know that you guys are doing it *right.*

BTW, two quick questions:

== Will there be a mounting point for a rear tugger strap?
(This is really needed due to my Swedish girlfriend's "ample" behind.)

== Some trail rides we do are only 40-60 miles - which can be done on the stock tank alone.
What happens if you only fill the main tank? Does it still flow into the sub-gas-tank?
And if so, does that cause any fuel flow issues ... or it is a non-issue?

Thanks, DaleEo! E-Ticket
