we have recently rebuilt the engine, new bearings, piston head and rings. now the bike runs perfect, idles fine. as soon as you put load on the engine in 1st and 2nd the bike sputters randomly but doesn't die. 3rd and up are fine. we originally thought it was a carb problem so we had changed the main jet and cleaned it out....no luck. we are now thinking its an electrical problem. if anyone has any thoughts please let me know. we are open for anything at this point!!!!!!

I have bought anew stator and i still have that same problem. Any other ideas? We have tried replacing the main jet also and nothing. At this point i think it might be something with the wiring for the harness (bad wires)
