my rear suspension on my fc550-02 is way to stiff ,its the damping. dont know what to do, i´ve set the damping to be as light as possible, but its still to hard, what should i do? the damper does this "sucking" noise when its on the way up againg after compressing it. should i get it refilled or is there a better/faster/cheaper way? its reallly sad having a bad rear suspension on such a lovely bike, cant jump as high as i want to because of it.

My guess if the shock has a sucking sound when it is rebounding is that there is air in the oil. Get reputable *********** rebuilder to give it the once over. It might need more than just a fluid change so be carefull of someone who might do it cheaply for you.

where you from X6RS?

do you fancy trying any of the work on your suspension?

the '01 and '02 stuff is really, really stiff and only good for MX. we have softer settings you can try for yourself.

go into the doc (on the left of the screen). not much on rear shock but you can do the front end.
