clean carb :violin: full disassembly make sure all orifices are clean :drinking: and your problem should be gone unless 8O

early carbs from '98 will now be worn out. please replace the atomizer/emulsion tube and the needle. even the slide and choke knob may be 'shagged out'. pull the carb apart and hold the ET to the light-you'll see that it's worn oval. the needle will visibly look shagged as well...
