problem with my speed trip!

ok,,,,,the bike is husaberg 450 2009.! i did buy it before one week and from the beging i have problem with the trip !

should it open when you just move the bike? or with the ignition?

my problem is that it is not start up ........i have to start it up my self, and after a 30-40 seconds its swich off!
and when i drive , the speed meter do not work! and after it is off!
when it is on the clock is working!

It sounds like it is not getting signal from the pickup ???? Is the magnet in the disc still in place ? Cable for sensor correctly plugget in ??? Cable damaged ?

i think it is the cable damage. so i did order one!

do you know if the trip is going "on" when you move the bike or the wheel?

yesterday i did make my first ride with the bike!!! wwoow

If it is the same system as on my OLD bike, the speedo goes on when wheel is turning.... Sensor built into the front caliper and a magnet in the disc.

Someone with a "new style" bike can confirm if this is correct ...
