Performance ignition coil for kokusan???

Was wondering if anyone ever used an aftermarket ignition coil for stronger spark on Kokusan ignition models. Dont have any problem with original though. It is a thought only for performance reasons. A friend put on his 2 stroke Honda a coil that have twice the out put of our original. I read some where in a topic,a comment of Dale Lineaweaver for SEM ignition models, and said that something have to do with the CDI mapping ,but I didnt understand it.

I also saw DR_C on a video to hand an MSD coil but this brilliant guy have a completely different ignition.

So,what do you think??? Any experience???

This is very interesting! I have never found a programmable CDI for Begrs. 8) I remeber when factory raced on FIM sm,the two teams used the FC CDI. I think I have a photo that saws the serial number. Of course we dont know what they could have done with the maping...

Specs:

Primary coil resistance: 0.5 - 0.7 ? (20°C/68°F)
Secondary coil resistance: 10 - 16.5 ? (20°C/68°F) [With plug cap]
8.3 - 10.2 ? (20°C/68°F) [Without plug cap]




Husaberg coil specs:

Primary coil resistance: 0.30? +/- 0.05?
Secondary coil resistance: 6.30?? +/- 1.26??



So what do you thing abou this??? Worth???
My friend that own it, describe me the spark of this coil as a ''blue thunder'' in addition with the OEM of his NSR that was ''orange flash''...

The stock works nice!
Melt everything,a??? Thats what I also afraid of... The fact that is made for racing 2 stroke puzzling me.
Well,when I will assemble the head,I will try to borrow form my friend and test it.
