Hi all

I've had to replace the gear and kick start seals on the left side cover, which I thought went without a hitch. On the plus side, the berg isn't haemorrhaging oil every time it's parked.

Although, tonight I took it out for a spirited ride and noticed a small streak of oil coming from the weephole. I thought I was careful to protect the water pump but I mimight have screwed with something. So what are my options now? I've seen that the orangeberg kit will fix iit, is there something else I could do at home? Thanks all

John, by any chance do you have a design for a motor stand or the factory one you could post a picture of? You know the one where you can swivel the motor 360' and secure it at any angle.

I order, I installed and not working.
It was good for the first 1,5mth, later (second ride) began to leak.

I wonder if the reason is not the sealant material?
It's typical NBR (-40 to +100'C).
I think if not better will be FPM (-30 to +180'C) which has a higher temperature resistance?

I can buy in a store:
12x32x7 FPM AO
12x32x7 FPM BAUMX7
12x32x7 FPM GRST - my favorite

What do you think?

As DalEO wrote you get a new seal and a bearing in an alloy housing which are installed separately in the case after removing the original assembly and it comes with a protector to place over the shaft to protect the original waterpump seal when you reinstall the cover. It comes with fitting instructions and pictures.
When you remove the original bearing you must ensure that the grey seal which is part of the bearing is not stuck in the cover, use a seal pick and remove it before fitting my kit.
As im not a Husaberg dealer anymore i cannot supply gaskets and other parts that may be needed, you may need to purchase these from your local dealer, if your in the US you cannot go past the exceptional service with
