ok I'm getting PISSED

Hey,regarding the weather here in Missouri, I've been riding motocross here nearly every weekend in 60 degree weather! We have no mudslides, hurricanes or huge brushfires. Gas is 2.20 right now. Land is cheap, too. It's funny though, at the track I invariably meet one or two people who've never seen or heard of a Husaberg. It's still kinda cool to be different. :p

Thanks everyone's posts including the ones telling me to stop whining were helpful. I want to clarify one thing: Dale was very helpful since day one. We were in contact by e-mail and by phone, he sent me a long email to help me understand the fine tuning process. I was excited to try and get his kit right for my Fe450e at my conditions/elevations. even though I have little technique (remember the pencil  ) and can't sort thru the issues, I thought I was getting there, but then that valve adjust day happened and it seemed all my efforts were now gone haywire........and I could not sort it out. It was a major accomplishment for me to get back to sqaure one. That is the success story here.

I still have Dale's kit, I do remember that brighter feel that first day. I liked that. I found the initial settings too lean and I dropped the clip two places that day. WE suspected I need a 160 mj not the 150 we started with, but then the other day with the valve adjust and poor running freaked me out, still don't know what happened........for now I need a calm six months of ownership before venturing into that carb again............I bet this summer with warmer temps the jetting I have may show it's weaknesses at elevation, I may start to play with it again.

I'm truly glad things are going your way now. I'm impressed.......your candor about this post show's me that you are human, and aren't afraid to admit it.

Enjoy your Husaberg, and I'll be looking forward to your zealous ride reports!!! :D

Bob, take your bike and cheque book to Mr Lineweaver, leave it with him to dial in, don't forget to praise him like he is your spiritual leader, kissing his feet might be in order.........he might take pity and give you a bit of a deal......and feel lucky that he's close..... "Boss" is a 6 hour round trip for me.... even though I have two Berg Doctors locally I will not let anyone else touch my motorcycle other than Rick.....I am mechanically inclined but when it comes to carbs and major engine work its cheaper to write the cheque out to Boss, yes I do the valves and everything else myself.........for me its easy: Brian messes with Berg motor equals BOOM $$$$$$
