No accelerator pump on Dellorto?

I have my bike for a few months and today i was fiddling around the carb and noticed that my Dellorto PHM doesn't have accelerator pump. I talked to the local bike mechanic that rode Husaberg some time ago and he had a couple of similar Dellortos laying in garage and they all have accelerator pumps, those Dellortos he has are not from Husaberg but from some older Ducati bike. He was suprised that my carb is missing a accelerator pump but he doesn't remember if his FE400 had acc pump on his carb.

I can't find any information if my carb should have it or not so please inform me!
If i fit it on my carb what will i gain or loose?

They do not come with a pump, nor do they need one.

I still haven't gotten my FCR to have same throttle response as my Lineaweaver tuned Dellorto on my 470. I never had an issue with the Dellorto on my FE 400 it was the smaller one and it ran great even started on the button.

I have the Lineaweaver kit in all my FCR's. They all have had the AP's removed.

In the old days we used to upgrade the stock 34mm carbs on our beefed up Yamaha TT500's with 40mm Dellorto pumper carbs. The new carbs worked superbly in these situations providing bog free, hesitation free, smooth power throughout the RPM range.
