newb needs a 'lil help

Ok guys, I'm supposed to pick up the 'berg tomorrow to try out over the weekend. Things to look out for?

On the pre 04 bikes the biggest issue will probably be learning the starting drill both hot and cold. Each bike seems to have it's own particular drill. If you can consistantly start the bike you should probably buy it. If you cant get it started, you should buy it and get more practice :D
There is nothing in particular to look for. Take note of all the wheel bearing and chasis bearing conditions. This is a dead give away to the maintenance of the bike. You may want to pull the stator cover and check for corrosion or delamination of the stator.
