Its an awful feeling, happened to me once too. Commiserations and I hope you get it back although that doesn't happen very often.

Bad news. Doubly bad missing a race.
Hope you get it sorted and the thief gets his as well.

what security did you have? how did they get around it? what should we be doing???

scary. :?

well I have thick padlocks inside the door. but they jemmy'd open a side window that has those triple locks. they broke the Georgian glass levering the three points. (Georgian glass =webbed with wire)

they left the two spot lights this time by wearing hooded rain jackets so that they didn't set the two heat sensitive lights off.

to break out they snapped the padlock with croppers I think as there is no padlock here.

they also took my bag of tools full of all my best stuff.

they left the side door alone this time as we had strengthened it. now my windows are my biggest weakness.

Taffy

Yep the *******s will smash the place up to get to the gear, its a horrible feeling that's for sure, slimy lowlife pricks, I have a 130 lb bull Arab pig dog that looks after the oly entrance to my bike stash.

Sometimes i think the best security is not to have much, cos the swines will just make more damage to get at it.

Sounds like theyve been watching so theyve planned it.

I might get seperate sheds for each bike an have nothin but bikes in, at least that way the w@nkers wont rob tools an bits aswell.

sorry bout that taf. i'll keep an eye out for it.

Thieves suck!! You could behead them all and it would be fine by me

Sorry Taffy, that's the absolute sh!ts. I hope those worthless pieces of garbage get what they deserve. I hate thieves...

David
sorry to hear the loss one can only begin to wonder what kind of low life are responsible
the theft by your account seems like it was staked out, like they knew what they where after

take care Per

Hi Taffy

Sorry to ear, if those SOB want to rob something they should try a bank, not a man heart and soul...

I am so sorry to hear these news. Not the best feeling in the world to have something so fine stolen.

Chin up old **** you still can go back to the future with that ol 400 with all it's anti squat and suspension secrets would be just as quick as a fancy pants LDC.

yes, I'm looking at a set of 12mm rod forks on ebay already with gleaming eyes!

Taffy

That's a real ******* Taff.
When they did mine it was 11.00 in the morning & Sue had only gone out for an hours shopping. They damaged nothing. Left the tools / chainsaws etc just took the Husqvarna & the boys KX85...the berg however had a disc lock on so this was just pushed over & left on the floor....Chains can be cut - disc clamps are more tricky if you're in a hurry.

Anyroad - we'll all keep our eyes peeled & look forward to another ride out with the old 400. Got to keep the 02's on the road...

Happened to me last year.
Some *******s stole my KTM 660,all of my riding gear, even took my chainsaw.
Luckily,I got everything covered by insurance.
Hope insurance is cooperative overthere.Good luck.
