I have fitted a lithium battery in my fs570 wich performs great starts very easy in any condition even in 1st gear.
Now I whent for an offroad ride and my bike was VERY dirty so before heading back home I stopped at carwash to get the most mud of the bike I used a plug for the exhaust but I had nothing to cover the airfilter/box.
So I did my best not to spray to much water under the seat.
than I took off riding home but after 2-3km the bike started misfiring/stalling I pulled the clutch and let it back out and could ride another 100m than I just tryed to start it 100 times  sometimes the engine responded and worked for 2 sec that's the reason I tryed so many times till my battery had no power left  so I pushed it home almost 2km....
Now you can not recharge these battery's with a normal "optimate" charger does it hurt to use jumper cable's from my roadbike (zx6r) to get the berg going (If it works) or can I damage battery's doing this...

I would suggest checking the website of the battery manufacturer.

Since the battery gets recharged when the bike is running, it must be able to take a charge. I think they are just incompatible with some of the smart chargers that try to restore a lead acid battery.

You may use a simple trickle charger for max 30 minutes. Then it should be fully charged.

Overcharging it will damage the battery.

there is a button with status light on top of the battery that turns green when battery is fully charged (when I bought it was green) So remove battery connect to charger (that I have to buy any you recommend? ) and check every 5-10 minutes to see when it's charged.
I already searched google/ebay for chargers but I find it difficult to understand wich one would be correct for use I did see they strongly recommend to NOT use a optimate type charger for lithium battery because of weak charge output

I don't think that is the problem; it is the advanced diagnosis modus which starts every charging cycle. it was designed to measure lead acid batteries, not Li ion. Should the intelligent charger find out that your Li ion battery is sick (compared to lead) it might give it some special shocks for recovery, which might harm the Li ion.

That's why you are best helped with the most simple version of a motorcycle trickle charger.

try the the bolts onto the battery and the fuse in the solenoid. (starter relay) that was my problem and someone else's as well.

Taffy

used jumper cables started with car bike runned after a few try's but it stalls all the time now it doesn't want to start at all  (even with jumper cables)
1st time I had any issue with the bike (+- 9500km) thin I will need to take it to the dealer

Sorry to hear of your battery and start problems. I use lithium batteries on several bikes including my FE390 and in general you want to charge them at low rates, usually no more than 1.5 amps on a standard trickle charger like a Deltran Battery Tender Junior.

or Battery Tender Plus

Shorai for example says the two chargers above are safe for their Lithium batteries and will not overcharge them even if you leave them on a long time. Lot of myths running around about Li batts. Mostly you do not want to use a battery charger more than 1.5amps and make sure it does not have a "desulphate cycle", that will damage a Li batt. Once a Lithium battery is up to full charge, it's best to take them off a trickle charger since Li batts will hold their charge much longer in storage than lead/acid batts will.

Also Lithium batteries, like standard (not Deep Cycle) Lead/Acid batteries, can be partially or permanently damaged if drained too low.

thx for the info I need a 2pin charger though (europe) and couldn't find these chagrers in euro version
I think my lithium battery will be damaged I just bought the damn thing one month ago
I'l never go to carwash again  will take my bike to a dealer by the end of the week because the battery is not the only problem otherwise it would keep running...

That's why I got a Good Ol' Taffy MF battery.
It can handle my Optimate 3 for weeks, when I am on holidays.
Hope you get your bike fixed soon.
