I was tempted, but I have a low hour bike (Due to a young family) and I figured that by the time I got around to needing it, it would have rusted away on the shelf. If I could find it by then. Besides I need to ride slower not faster.

How close are we to those limits anyway? If we pick 100000km and 600cc as fixed minimum and are OK with some slop in the other two numbers? Either above or below

150% GP clutch
GP ignition cover and generator
high lift cam
high flow rate billet water pump
blue finned oil cooler/tube
GP gasket set
and the interesting bits . . . .

Large No of Replaceable Lobe Camshafts Sprockets + Machining Fixtures
I tried for the last 700cc kit, It was the best kit in my view so I risked not getting one at all and . . . . . . was outbid in the last second and my max bid was £619.99
still, I got some cool stuff, just need to pick it up on friday

The 570 engine weighs more than a 650... (makes sense if you compare the cases 650 one piece 570 you can remove the cilinder seperately)
If I remember correctly 31 kg with oil drained/starter removed for my 570

yes 31-32kgs for the 570 and 27-28 kgs for the 650

I considered the adjustable cams but the shipping on 15kg was nasty.

Admittedly, thats what i was thinking when the numbers began to move up considerably. Tacking on shipping and the kit i was bidding on exceeded value. Still, would have been nice
