I have recently gotten my triple clamp powdercoated, and i am now having issues installing that damn steering stem again!
It was a mess to remove, i used heat and a hammer and some hard knocks.
My triple clamp is the adjustable one with either 16 or 22mm offset, but it seems very difficult to just knock that steering stem back in, even though i freeze it and heat the clamp. I have a vise, but do i really need to visit someone with a press to get this done? The bottom clamp was masked up during painting, so clearance because of powder should not be an issue.
