IMPORTANT QUESTION: ISDE Greece 08 who is going to watch

Was just wondering...I don't think for sure I can go to watch, but might be able to. The ISDE sight gives good direcitons to Serres fromt he SKG airport in Greece, about only 105km.

The issue is that it appears that a car needs hiring to get to Serres and then to get to each days tests etc.

Who else from this site is going and is anyone planning to organise anything. For example two cars for six days full of Unioffical Husaberg Forum members? Could be interesting and don't forget the official unveiling of the 09 production berg will be in a hotel in Serres.

Has who is going thought of some plan to get around... are there buses to Serres etc etc

Catching the train from thessaloniki to Serres how easy is that.

Do you know how often the trains run and how far the train station is from the airport?

What is the best way to get to the train station?

Do you know if english is widely spoken in that part of Greece? (thessaloniki and Serres).

Once in Serres, do you know what the options are for getting around? Do you think there will be shuttle buses, scooters for hire etc?

thanks for your help, once I know these major things, getting there and getting around without costing as much as an 09 husaberg, I can work on whether I can find time off to get there and can phone for some more details.

It would be interesting to know how many others from this site will be roaming around while the 6 day is on?

oh and by the way I think I would be coming via Munich and have to go back that way and I note the Oktober fest is on middle september. I know that will not make any difference to those that may be coming from the US or Australia, but I thought I would mention it ????
