The starter button is wired to a 4 pin plug on the electrics mounting plate behind the headlight. The feed to the starter relay is the blue/red wire. Wire the key switch into this wire so the key has to be 'on' for the start button to work. You could also wire the switch into the engine kill circuit (black/yellow wire) by using the wires from the keyswitch which are closed when the key is removed and in the 'off' position as has been stated in a previous post. Connect one keyswitch wire to the black/yellow loom wire and the other keyswitch wire to earth (either the brown wire in the loom or the frame itself). I didn't bother with this connection and just made do with the starter button mod so, in theory, the bike could still be push/bump started without the key but have you ever tried push starting a 570!!
