FI blink code says engine coolant temperature sensor bad but bike and fans work normally

Hi guys
I got the 2009 FE 450
Same for me 1 Long / 2 shorts (+ sometime some random half blinks)
Engine run fabulous but it have some random cut off when hot. I have replaced the "pick up" sensor as he die recently.
Today i will swap the injector, but it seem that the one in place was working good...
Any idea?

1x L, 2x S usually, not always, points to
coolant temp sensor.
this sensor is bolted into the engine to read coolant temp inside the motor.
The bmw sensor on the radiator is aka a fan switch. It's normally not recognized as a temp sensor.
, as KTM is too poor to built with marine grade wires real offroad bikes spending $ in orange paint...Thanks for pointing me in the right direction jedd
Is that sensor something that often fails or is it more likely the wiring?
