Hi guys first post here to cut a long story short I am really wanting a Husaberg supermoto I've owned a husky in the past and various KTMs but never had a berg.
I was always put off by so many horror stories but now issues seem to have been sorted so I think it's time to jump in.
First of all although they do pop up in UK most are FS650 or FE 450 etc and look rough!
What are the pitfalls of converting a FE to supermoto?
It's not for racing just Sunday fun on.back roads no bouncing on the rev limiter!
How would the Fe400 hold up to an use I know everyone goes for the 650 but I don't need the most the powerful bike on the road just a light free reving fun machine.
Thanks guys.

Hello MigGames

I have just uploaded onto ebay today my FE400e 2002 dirtbike, a FS650e 2002 SM, another FS650e 2001/2 gets uploaded in the morning. I have a FS550e 2003, a FE501e 2004 and a 1998 FE600e dirtbike to go up as quickly as they will start and run clean having sat hidden for 4 months!

I must then get a few more ready but they are a little away.

kind regards

Taffy

Oh that's your beautiful little 400 I really like that machine however knowing you have the others I'm starting to rethink.
Could you perhaps pm a little more detail about the 501 and 550 please I am only down the a10 from you it looks like so would be very interested in purchasing one from you.
Regards

Welcome here

Pls. Don't even think about buying somenthing from taffy expecially a bike they are not clean, they don't have engine rebuild, he does engine rebuild with used stuff

If you were pull off by horror stories taffmaister is your guy

Look on ebay or Gumtree they do come out if it's private have it check ...you would find most supermoto been 450 up with the 400 conversion can be straight foward for just play ktm wheel will fit
But to go to track days maybe some Brakes will make a big difference

Paolo

why don't you give everyone a link to the engineers report video?

I'm sure everyone would like to see it.

Taffy

There is no engineer you dickehead. And there has never been an engineer...

then a link to the guy that did the report on the engine. let's all see the video

I don't have it anymore...the report was about the head that we didn't know if it could be the actual cause ...and you know what you told us after in the phone call to check the reed valve ...you know about the issue the bike had

Start getting some responsability about your work. You actually thinking that what you done was good? You are a fraudulent person to deal with when it comes to bikes , engine work, and magic stuff

no way did you delete the report, you just don't want anyone else to know that he told you straight that i had done what I had said I had. he actually told you IN THE VIDEO'why are you after this guy, he has done everything he said he had?'

if there's a ******** here it is you.

You dickehead told me there was no damage in the head when you sold me the bike, we were investigating the head not the engine case...your engine rebuild are **** all
I am not going back and forth with this

Explain why you been using used valves instead? And gave to the costumer 4 old one ...
Explain the cam chain ?
Explain why the ENGINE CASE was damage
Explain why the bike didn't smoke when I bought but the day after I bought it ....it did

**** off taffy ...don't even think about adavartising any of your bike sale on here

There's not just the case with Paolo6, there have been other very unhappy customers of Taffy's here on the forum.

This seller has multiple warning signs and many red flags raised. I doubt that everything he has is junk, but he's DEFINITELY not the be-all end-all of Husaberg bikes. Do careful due diligence if you choose to trade with Taffy. Including searching for posts here. His manners are appalling. (What professional would attack a dissatisfied customer back like this? It's not even about manners; Basic civility is lacking as can be seen on the forum. Completely shameless and disrespectful.

Shipment and replies to customer inquiries are obviously lacking.

Repeated situations have come up where goods or service have been found to be severely flawed.

There is obvious doubt; I suggest Taffy should not enjoy the benefit of said doubt. Do careful diligence and careful contract work if you choose to go there. Don't expect usual dealer-to-consumer provisions based on any sort of goodwill or mutual respect to hold.

Hey Tourist

Have we ever done business? Do you have first hand experience at dealing with Taffmeisters. Okay so I straight talk, thats my way, if you take umbridge at a piece of straight talking, well thats your way.

If Zen did his job all this would have been nipped in the bud and we would be talking Husabergs, not my lack of bedside manner!!

Now because I am finally replying to Paolo, which has nothing to do with yourself, but of course the only way some people can operate is with a gang mentality.

Tourist, you know damn well anyone can write exactly what they want on here and Zen will do nothing...

If you want to talk or say something to me directly about Husabergs, say it and I will answer you directly, but don't just use this gang up mentality, It's crass and It is counter productive and that's it isn't it, you just want to cause trouble.

I cannot believe this thread started about someone looking for a Husaberg - excited and another chance to get a new generation involved in a Husaberg, look what you did to it.

Taffy

You are the first one to disrespect people on here ...you have no interest of new generation

You know what: when I was new to husaberg I was looking around this forum , I thought you were good, really good when I first meet you was the same I tought you were good and then not long after I figure out you are a scam artist ....

Don't you dare of advertising your bike sale on here and especially on new people
