That is your decision to which you are entitled, but so are those that have had a bad experience, or have read plenty here to make a personal opinion.

Those that feel they have had a bad experience whether small, large or more than once are wanting to save others from a similar experience.

Kudos to those that act for others. We need more people on this earth to do the same.

also Tourist has never dealt with me, everything he says here is based on some advice I gave him and he took exception to it. I thought you Aussies spawned straight talking jeez....

I bought a significant $ amount of stuff from taffy, In My Honest opinion as a real actual qualified working professional engineer and machinist (not a UK garden shed variety) it was all fraudulently advertised useless rubbish except for the heavier cam chain (it was claimed to be 30% lighter and 30% stronger) I got no customer service or refund just abuse.

hes still abusing people all the time and selling the same crap with slightly reworded advertising, regularly spamming our site to make money and all the other vendors have left because they cant stand his attitude.

support him if you like ... the rest of us don't need to.

The rest about the "advice" is a straight-faced lie. Truth be told, the moment where I had enough was when Taffy spuriously attacked newcomer Basalt in a thread where they were asking for advice, after increasingly starting to doubt his morals after many, many, many situations like it. That's when I made a certain decision. If people care to look, I state here in public view that a pattern can be found where Taffy shows a friendly face to newcomers here in an attempt to sell them stuff but then when they show independence and question things (without any warnings or other input from other forum members!, the alleged "bullying" of Taffy), then in a sudden they are attacked as viciously as can be in a forum post. It's all here, and it is clear who the bully is.

they've stopped the 2001-2004 650 rod FOR GOOD.

now i reckon we have to decide whether i make a fist of keeping husaberg owners bikes running or i decide that dealing with crap like this just isn't worth it.

I earn enough from rental income to not have to bother replacing this stuff.

I agree

I've been here since 08'. I have got a lot of good advice from people with Husaberg knowledge and Taffy being one of them. I have gotten parts many times from Him all in a timely manner and without complaint. I can't say about his engine builds because if I want one done I have someone nearby to do it.
So for me I will leave it at that. A happy customer that's satisfied with parts and one who appreciates the shared knowledge from Him along with several others here.

Im from Ca. also. I will say this and not to bring them up, but just the way I see it. The amount of Australians and English on this site are simply because they know how great Husabergs are. In contrast, the ratio of Husaberg enthusiasts compared to number of other brand riders here in the US seems miniscule.

I believe Australia was one of the big markets for husaberg? But I would guess there must be most husabergs per capita in Sweden (duh) but the need for a forum is less as you just ask your friends over a cup of coffee
