Ever have one of those "oh ****!" moments? Mine was sitting on the couch recently and suddenly remembering that my Husaberg had water wetter in the rads. Not great when it hit -30c this winter! Sure enough it was frozen solid. Ive seen roadrace bikes, which must run water, get their engines wrecked by freezing and the expansion of water into ice that can crack cylinders and heads. So I popped off the rad hoses and thawed my poor bike out in my garage. Filled it with coolant and fired it up. All good - even the gaskets. Damn! That sure could have been expensive.

I love my Husaberg even more today!!!

You also want to watch corrosion with that stuff - I've seen internal steel parts exposed to coolant nearly rusted through that ran water wetter & H2O. I use Engine Ice for that reason now, think it has anti corrosive properties more so than the wetter. Just my .02, took a KTM RFS motor apart and the cam circlip that holds the water pump part on was essentially rusted away ready for failure on a water wetter motor.
