I have:
2x yellow
0x blue

So I guess I mod the the bikes previous two inputs for yellow to one yellow input and make the other yellow cable to earth?
I dont have many consumers on the bike if that make any difference, only this:
tail-light, brake light, headlight

regards Michael

just look at a wiring diagram, that's all you have to do....just look at a wiring diagram. that's what we do and an later everything works!

Hi

No, you can't make one of the yellows go to ground.

Don't know why you don't have the blue one ?? but you should

Probably broke and someone just removed it ??? For the ignition to run you don't need those yellows and the blue, but to have the 12V, lights or battery you need those.

You can buy a new one, or ask the guy that you want to rewind your old one if he can reconnect the blue one. Because those coils will need a ground.

that was the answer I was expecting, according to the seller of the stator Its brand new, and It really looks like it too.
For now im just happy to have the bike running, I only ride in the woods on my own trails and always in daylight.

regards Michael

Check voltage between the two yello and between each yellow and ground
If you get voltage then the stator is grounded internally

Yea it could be the case

But if that is the case, check how many volts you are getting between one yellow and the frame or the engine

I don't know my *** from a hole in the ground on this but I'm thinking we all should check are voltage, resistance , ohms , ground/earth before the bike go's bad and right down those numbers for later time when the bike is starting to run like crap.

I always say that when I buy a bike and then never do it ...
