Hi,
just registered to the forum as bought husaberg 650 02 couple weeks ago, have some problems and cant figure out.
when I bought it wasnt used for a long time so I couldnt start it , only pull with car can start it, after that I cleaned up carb, fitted new spark plug, adjusted valves, then realised how to start it ( find TDC and etc...) now it start easy when cold, but when warm.... cant start, its back fireing and my leg is almost broken from "back kick" :) maybe you can give some suggestions what can be wrong when warm? carb settings are- main JET 190, needle posittion 2 from bottom. carb DELORTO.
El start doesnt work it is missing one pinion

Sorry for my english it is not my native :)

It may be running rich. Possibly the float level is high or the needle and needle jet worn.
One suggestion when starting it hot. Pull in the manual decompression lever, open the throttle and kick the motor through 5 or 6 times (this will help clear any hot soak rich condition). Close the throttle, brink it up to TDC and give it a smooth, strong kick. Make sure to start the kick all the way at the top, don't cheat it.

Give that a try.

1 or more broken valve springs are also causes of hard starting.
Its a quick check, just take the valve cover off.

I have inspected valves when measuring the gap. a cold start is from first kick.
