I have a problem that my gas tank leaks under the plate where fuel lines go, have anyone fixed it yourself or do i really need to buy new gas tank. 1 bolt didnt went straight and it leaks from the thread, i think glue or something like that wont last long šŸ˜ž

2 part epoxy fuel tank repair, follow instructions, works great. I keep this in my on bike toolkit- will fix just about anything if part is clean, including cases, radiators, tanks on the trail

Take your gun heater // Try your self with any HDPE drum, make a scar on it, make a long and thin HPDE rod and weld on the scar you have previously made. (its gonna be messy at the begining...)
When you feel confident, clean your tank (zero petrol vapour inside...), clean the rod and go for it
* Apply the rod and melt it moving fwd

First of all, beware of fire flash...
If you still have access to the head of the creasy spinning bolt, i will grab a vice clamp spanner and pull it out, the thread is already dead...
Then fill the spot with an helicoil or a Time sert, remain risky but...
Also after that, check well inside the tank to acknowledge the limits of what you are dealing with...
I believe you can make it without purchasing another tank
(btw i have for sale a Safari...)
