Just thought I'd advise that Husaberg Australia ( aka Norm Bromley ) has donated a few Husaberg banner rolls for the recon ride in May this year. 8O

I sent Johnno ( aka mate from WA ) an email asking to borrow the one out of his shed & then got the return email saying "Norm is going to send a couple". He also now knows all about UHE & the support generated by it.

I'm going to get a heap of photo's in May to send to the appropriate people to try get some more support for the ride in '08.

I'll keep you tuned.

Top stuff wildman, and huge props to HBG Aust, we must be gratefull of any support in our Debut event, Cheers!

Hey Wal,
Ask Husaberg if they will donate a dozen or so Berg T-shirts and stubby holders so we can take them to the pub on the Saturday night and get Husaberg a heap of exposure. Would make for some great photos in the pub with the Berg shirts on and beers in Berg stubby holders. I think you can squeeze a schooner into a stubby holder !!!!
Cheers
Garry.

All Husaberg promotional products come with a "responsible service of alcohol" policy. LOL !!!!

The tool kit in my 07 650 included a 'special' Husaberg labelled branded tool that I couldn't figure out what it was for. Bit like a spoke spanner, but doesn't fit. Eventually I had to call Sutto's who explained that it was for 'after' the ride, a fancy bottle opener is standard! Dooh

And a very well made bottle opener it is. Shame most beers are a twist top. Maybe we could make a statement and open our twist tops with the Berg tool !!!

Yep, damn shame to just leave it in the bag. It's definitly a much better tool than the KTM one.

The KTM one is actually a suprisingly versatile little too.

It clips onto a 1/2" drive torque wrench and allows access to torque the barrel nuts on the 2 strokes because of its narrow profile. You do need to calculate the new wrench setting because of the different leverage ratio though.Or so Ive been told.

The radius of the bottle opener end fits the odomoter battery cover screw slot perfectly.Saves hunting for an ill fitting screwdriver or loose change in your pocket.

Some even use the bottle opener end to undo the oil fill plugs, but generally you dont need a tool for that.

And it opens some bottle types too :) .

Obviously screw tops arent a common feature in Austria ??

Wal, I have got our local Husaberg dealer John Prior on board for the May ride and next years ride as well. Good for him and Husaberg in general. John is a very experienced rider, does the Fink and Condo and stuff like that. He is very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. He probably wouldn't mind giving a few riding tips and techniques to those of us who are willing. He is coming to Louee with his Merc van and huge covered trailer, and the bonus is he is taking us over. He knows Norm Bromley well, so will see what is available for give aways and prizes and the like. No promises but he will do what he can. This is looking like turning into a Mini Force Ride, should be great.
Cheers :D

Outstanding alright !

That's a great effort Cafey, thanks for the help. You're right, the ball is well on its way now with only 30 sleeps til the event. It's probably 31 sleeps but I'm not gunna sleep the night before, that's for sure.
