Hey out there, been seening lots of 2009/10 570's out there in the 3k mileage range for reasonable prices. I was originaly in the market for a 690 but wanted something more trail worthy. But definately see myself racking up miles. Ten miles up the freeway is 100's of miles of jeep trails. So is it pretty safe to assume these bikes are rock solid reliable for lots of duel sporting/adventure riding of this type?

If you would told Me I'd be riding a 570 4 stroke 20 years ago I'd of told you were high. It a great bike. But don't just ride it maintain it.

Firecrotch great name. That 570 looks good if I didn't just buy a 450FX and have 570FE & 570FS I'd thinking about it. the extra tank if you could buy a new one (you can't) would cost you $600 - $700. If you want to Supermoto (the wheels) check with use before you do anything. I ended up spending more than I should have.

Looks quite trustworthy. If only judging from the list of mods, that bike has been in the posession of a thoughtful and dedicated owner.

That mileage / hours is nothing to stop ya. Especially noy if the top end was rebuilt at 140 hours!

My FE390 is approaching 9000 miles / 350+ hours, still going strong on the original crank, clutch & piston. Valve clearances hadn't moved in 164b hours last time I checked.
