Hi Taffy

You are correct, we are very enthusiastic Husaberg dealers as we believe they are proper 4 strokes and the best bike you can now by in standard trim and go race it.

I am Simon Molter and my co-partner is long time friend Graham Ward, who I have known for years when we lived in the same town and raced in the Haynes 4 stroke MX championships and British 4 stroke. We both had Husqvarnas at the time when they were made in Sweden and I worked for Pro Circuit UK the importer of Husqvarna at the time in the 1980s. When Husky was sold to Cagiva I lost my job so we set up Midwest Racing between us. Since then we have brought the Husaberg name to the south and west country and slowly convinced people through test days and sponsored riders that Husabergs are good. We sponsor Jason Fraser a South West enduro champion and multi British 4 stroke enduro champ and Lewis King former 250 GP rider. We follow the enduro route now mainly but are looking at supermoto next year and really hope that Husaberg will make a MX model again. They are great bikes and have heard some interesting news from the R & D factory in Sweden but alot of new ideas get shelved because another certain factory (not naming anyone) might get beaten. Thats a short history for now. I hope you liked our ally tank bike and keep looking as we have carbon fibre sump and water pump guards being made as well as alternative rad protectors.

Go on.... do tell.... elaborate some more..... :D

Regards,

ps. Before I forget my manners, welcome aboard midwest. Good to have you.

A friend of mine went to the World Enduro round in Spain and spoke to a person high up in the R & D at Sweden and they have worked on a fuel injected 450 and a DOHC 250 F, but they have been asked not to take it any further by a certain factory who own them.

"have been asked".....that is funny.

I heard several good things for the new models but have serious doubt these will go into production due to the "stiff"(orange!!) competition. I do hope for good things as I want to put my 470 for sale and maybe get a 450.
