Hey all!

I'm kinda new to Husaberg but having some maintence on my bike now. Going to change the rocker arm bearings, but cant get the cap ends/shaft out of the cylinder head cover. So, how do I do it?

Tried to search for a forum thread about it, but couldnt find anything.. :(

you have the whole cylinder head cover off already right? i think they are just pressed into the head cover? how to actually remove them i dont know i am just sure you have to have the cover off. then im guessing take out the screw on each one then tap them out? to adjust the lateral movment you just losen the bolts then tap them in so i assume the removal would be the same, like i said i havnt actually done it

I have removed the head cover, yes. I kinda know its "just to pull it off", but how do I do it when i dont have a fully equipped MC workshop?.. I have most common tools, just not special tools for everything.

like you, i thought they would come out fairly easily, i really dont know how its supposed to be done i just wanted to make sure you had the cover off and werent trying something obviously impossible, im sure someome will tell you exactly what to do eventually, good luck!!

my puller is a husaberg/ktm spoke with an old crank pin slid over it. the angle of the spoke keeps the pin from sliding off, and it threads into the hole after removing the screw. a couple of thumps from the pin and it pops right out. make sure when you replace it to adjust the side clearance before tightening the cover bolts.

Thanks for replies. Got it out now.

What I did was to put a slightly longer screw in it, then i put the screw head in a vice with a little space between the cylinder top cover and the vice. Then used the backside of a wrench to bend on the cover, and it popped out :)

I guess that it would work the same as on the Husky TE610; screw a M6 size bolt into the threaded rocker arm from the outside.
The arm is extracted by turning the M6 bolt clockwise.
