Thanks for updating us with the excellent news Ruger! Glad you now have this behind you and can go out and enjoy your awesome new bike.

Thanks, LJ. Tomorrow I'll finally find out how removing the emissions crap has changed the performance. Can't wait!

If warmed up, and shut off I'm positive you could push it in gear with the clutch pulled without too much effort.

Good to know not to pull the clutch when your bike is napping either running or not.

Prolly shouldn't touch the brake either, especially if laying on the left side. (btdt...)

Glad it's sorted now and you got to know your "local" berg dealer at least.

Thanks for the update

Idle, my bike is pretty new and I don't think that it's completely broken in yet. I tried to push it cold in 1st gear with the clutch pulled, and it'll push but it's really hard to do. All warmed up it becomes a lot easier to push while in gear. Funny beasts, these Husabergs.

Today's ride also revealed the value in pulling off the emissions stuff and using the plug that comes with the bike. I wouldn't say it's a new machine, but there is a noticeable difference in both power and throttle response. The trottle is snappier, and the machine accelerates harder and more readily. Worth the trouble, and not particularly hard to do.

Mine never did pop or backfire on deceleration. It just woke the bike up a bit.
