How To Contact Husaberg Directly

I've been all over the Husaberg.com site, and cannot figure out how to contact the firm directly. Does anyone know how to contact them, please?

I have a months old 2011 FE5570S with less than 60 miles on it, and apparently the seal in the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder has failed. 60 miles of flat, easy riding and I have a mechanical failure that puts a new, high end motorcycle out of action. Oh yeah, I've checked every auto parts chain (3) and motorcycle shop (2) in town, and that special hydraulic fluid isn't available anywhere. Who would hold still for their new Lexus or Porche being this unreliable and unserviceable?

If you know how to directly contact Husaberg, please let me know.

I heard he was his only hope.

Thanks for the wonderful photo of Sir Alec Guinness.

Now, as to contacting Husaberg?

I've never heard a whinge quite like this before Roger.

they used to say that KTM owner's whinge while Husaberg owner's ask: How can I fix this? but it was only a matter of time I guess.

don't write to the factory: it's churlish and makes you look a ***! Man up and go find the seal and there WILL be mineral oil and a syringe out there. a KTM dealer will use the same seal.

you can always transfer to ATF I suppose? up to you. not sure which grade etc is used but I'll try and find out.

I WILL SAY ONE THING THOUGH. THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!!!! BETTER THAN TALKING ABOUT PHUQIN GEARING ALL ALL ALL DAY INNIT!

Lexus? That is a **** box Toyota with a fancy name?
What are you going to say to Husaberg? Fix it or else?
What option have you got other than Husaberg? Every other bike is 5 steps backwards in looks, power and smiles.
Just fix it.

Come on now. A mechanical failure that renders the machine inoperable in 60 miles? That isn't right for a Hundai, let alone a high end machine like ours. Of course I intend to fix it - the part and the fluid are on order. (The dealer I bought from just two months ago has gone out of business, and the outfit that bought the KTM/Husaberg franchise is 150 miles away.)

But that's at the dealer level. I intend to engage with Husaberg, Inc. First of all, what's the thinking behind using an o-ring for a hydraulic seal? And whatever the thinking, I am dead level certain that the Husaberg engineers care enough about the quality of their designs and the reliability of their product to want to minimize design related mechanical failures. I am equally certain that the corporate types are interested in their bottom line enough to want to minimize warranty claims.

I don't sit on my *** and suck it up all nice and victim-like when there is something that can be done. You can call me a "***" or "churlish" if it entertains you. You didn't need to get personal or insulting, and it certainly didn't contribute anything of value. Me, I'm going to engage substantively with Husaberg, Inc. and see if they'd like to improve on their design. They sure won't if they don't know that there is a problem.

You should have had all the contact information come with the bike packet. I have the same bike, same year and
it came with all the factory and North American contacts.

Just look up Magura Blood on the internet. That won't cure the seal issue, but it will get you the right fluid. The seal, is that same as the KTM's so no big deal, just get ahold of a KTM Dealer. Or, use the internet, which you obviously have access to, and do a dealer search for Husaberg dealers. Contact a dealer, you should still be covered under the bikes warranty. I'm sure someone will send youa seal and a little fluid. I imagine it is frustrating to have that problem on a new bike, but people and machines are not absolutely perfect, there are bound to be a few instances of a seal getting a tear in it during assembly, even on a high end bike. It should not really be that big of a deal to fix the seal, and then you should be able to enjoy that Husaberg.

Closest KTM dealer (NOT a Husaberg dealer) is 70 miles away, and they do have the mineral oil. That's where I'll be on Saturday morning, and I'll ask after that seal while I'm there. All I'll have is a Husaberg PN, though. I hope that'll be sufficient.

Hope you get that seal soon and get some time on your bike. I'd call the KTM dealer to see if they have the seal. Maybe call a Husaberg dealer and ask them to mail it to you just in case. Got to have a backup plan.

I've called the closest Husaberg dealer (150 miles away) and asked them to order me the seal. That was Tuesday, and I haven't heard from them since.
