Yo, just picked up my first husaberg, 1996 fe501. What a blast, the most fun ive ever had on a bike. Loving the way it wheelies in first 3 gears. Anyone else from lincolnshire? Need some ideas for dirt tracks i can ride cos riding b roads is killin my rear tyre. Quick question too, looking at gettin a keihin carb but cant find what sort i need. The dellorto carb is a 38mm which i think is standard, can i put any other 38mm carb on or is it a bit more complicated than that? Loads of carbs on ebay but need to know which ones will fit. Cheers

depends which FCR you get there are so many different shapes and sizes but they can all be made to fit.

obviously the ones from husabergs and KTM RFS engines require the least work

more info the 2000 husqy has dellorto, someone on ADV rider was making billet adaptors for the engine side about 10 years ago.

I have loads of Husaberg customers from Lincolnshire and Louth at that as you are at the hub of some great riding! sadly, none of them are members here. they may be TRF members so why not try there. I daren't give out info other than maybe a mobile number.

Thanks bush mechanic, some useful info there. Taff, I got this bike from york, picked it up from the suzuki dealers, the guy i bought it off left it there for me to pick up cos his mate owns or works there. He actualy gave me your number if i ever needed parts. I googled the number and it came up with taffmeisters, then i looked on this husaberg forum and saw you regularly offer advice to people and supply parts. So when i need some bits you'll be first person i try. Thanks all for replying so quickly
