High idle when hot.

After my FE 450 has become hot, the idle is a bit high for some seconds after going off the throttle.

Is there any adjustment for this problem?

Could it be the "throttle position sensor" making this happend?
 
Hi Lucky,

Check the idle screw setting should be 1.5 turns out or possibly try 1.25 turns.
Also check for blockages in the idle air circuit.
The TPS will have no bearing on the problem you have.

Sparks.
 
check for air leaks , remove carb and pay attention to the pilot jet .

the pilot jet is very small and just a speck of dirt will cause the problem you describe .
