S sparks Joined Sep 2006 989 Posts | 23+ Hayle Cornwall Apr 23, 2007 #2 Hi Lucky, Check the idle screw setting should be 1.5 turns out or possibly try 1.25 turns. Also check for blockages in the idle air circuit. The TPS will have no bearing on the problem you have. Sparks.

whosahberg Joined Dec 2005 1K Posts | 0+ australia Apr 23, 2007 #3 check for air leaks , remove carb and pay attention to the pilot jet . the pilot jet is very small and just a speck of dirt will cause the problem you describe .
