Tyres?

You blokes ride in very different terrain compared to us. Most of our riding is in rocky AND slippery stuff with lots of puddles and small creeks etc etc. However, the Dunlops will last longer than Pirelli's you are talking about. I used to sell Pirelli's, and they definately make the best terrain "specific" tyres around! ie, you cant beat the Mt32's for a grass track, but they are'nt to good for anything else.
We mostly use the Dunlop 756 rears and 752 fronts.
The Maxxis tyre you mentioned is the IT 6 ply 6001, this is very difficult to fit and has a thick side wall.
Maxxix has not been very big in Aust, but they are now sponcering the M/X, so sales will probably pick up?

Ditto on maxxis tires being a royal-pain-in-the-*** to mount. The Maxxis tires are so time-consuming to mount, in fact, that I refuse to buy any more. A great tire is IRC. I have had excellent results with thier "vulcanduro" series tires. VE33 and VE35. Check them out. They last longer than maxxis, are way easier to mount, and cost less. Thats IRC vulcanduro VE33 and VE35. Check them out.

kenda's

The Kenda's are gaining popularity here in Aust to, well priced and last well.

I had the IRC on before the trials tire.
The trials tire is better in every type of terrain in the desert.
Grips far better on rocks and sand covered hardpack.
Steering is more responsive, too.

The Millevile front tire is good for our terrain.
