has anyone used the Ultimate MX Hauler?

After having my bike fall off the hauling rack on the rear of my truck I've been looking at all sorts of alternatives to the traditional ramp/rack combos and the www.ultimatemxhauler.com really seems cool.

I was wondering if any of you have used the Hauler and what your feelings are/were regarding it.

Thanks so much, Will

They're nice and you can replace the bottle jack easily. My buddy has an awesome one that does not compress the suspension, or require any straps, way cool! www.addabike.com I have had this rack on the back of my truck, loaded, and doing 30 through the wash and the bike never even moved. Super simple to load: roll the bike on, throw a blanket or towel over the seat, and lean on the bike and lower the arm down and lock it. He had his loaded up and beer in hand before I ever got my first tie down on.

I have the MX Hauler and I love it. It's strong enough for my 570 and I've hauled from CA to OR and back several times now...very good investment and you can drive at freeway speeds without worry where as you can only do 55 with a trailer. Love it...

Thanks Wolfy and Blue Devil, I appreciate the feedback.

The Add a Bike looks cool, the upright with the seat/bike holder is exactly what I've been envisioning since I lost my brand new bike off a tie-down rack this month. The only thing that worries me is the one that's priced comparably to the Ultimate MX Hauler is only rated to 250 lbs which is what my bike weighs. For obvious reasons, I'd like to put my 250 pound bike on a rack rated for at least 350 pounds, preferably more. I do like the fact that it's light and made of aluminum but again, the weight limit concerns me.

Blue Devil, what is your tow vehicle receiver height (top or bottom of receiver tube)? I've got a Ford F-150 Super Crew 4x4 which is a tad higher than the 2wd models, I'm concerned about the Ultimate MX Hauler going low enough to easily load the bike-a FE570.

Thanks again! Will

I have Ultimate MX Hauler and use it with my Toyota Tundra. I like it very much and have no issues loading it easily. I do use a couple of shims at the rear of the skid plate or my 570 likes to sort of ride in a wheelie position.
