pff, WOT you say - that's the same video with a tractor engine sound dubbed over!! probably a recording of when you were pulling your neighbor's wife out of a ditch

And we've figured out why your videos are so short ... it blows a gasket 61 seconds in !!

you're right sorry for throwing a wobbly

this is my bike with the lastest sleeve down kit .. 421cc and a tourque cam the headgskets last a full 10 min

it won't rev beacsue its hasn't our hyper fat tip needle yet .. only the stock one with the code ground off

Tch tch, the nerve, the temerity the audacity. Squat induction ?!! What should you know about that ? Look to me like borat was let loose with a rotary file and 3 litres of potato based jungle juice.

Didn't you know that filing the needle code off is a the best way to create a double ended dual taper pleasure needle, (ribbed for your comfort and traction in the mud) only do you not need the accelerator pump, you can liberate the carb from the tyranny of the main jet and completely weld shut the pilot jet and choke. This will allow you to run a 700 mm rod only if you use the gudgeon as part if the piston crown, this will also increase quench so you can run like diesel compression numbers with a 0 overlap cam. Duh.....

you're completely wrong as usual of course and you need to get off the jungle juice

Ive done the test and proved it, after that i posted it up here so you're just double wrong the needle isnt that one its an NKBT clone with an inside out convex curvature triple radius ribbed quad taper prostate nudger.

as for the rest of the tripe in your last post it is clear you have completely thrown the dummy out of your pram and ruined another great thread =D>

now back on topic here is a sneak peek of something i had my engineer knock up on the weekend

Aha.... finally a -90deg overbox reversed induction gearless single cylinder engine the world has been waiting for. Does it still have those wonderfull counter rotating non rotational thruppit sleeves containing the docoded super needle?
Most important tho.... does it need to be idled for 5mins to burn the ECU? (which i see you have cunningly installed in the now unused gearbox cavity)

Keep up the good work bushy an dont let those nayslayers get to you.

heartfelt thanks there bergbro

it brings a wee tear to the eye to receive such a barrage of overwhelming compliments :3some: :grouphug:

this kind of development is not easy .. many late nights spent getting the cack handed asymetrical 1.5 angle valve seats done in the cordless drill and nutting out the burn in codecs with faceapp 2.1 and of course throwing empty whiskey bottles at oxana in the moat till dawn makes for a really stressful time.

I can't divulge what these are for but you may get a hint from the engineering drawing in the background

this is all very hush hush of course the walls have ears you know

these are the new MMX rods as you can see they weight is 324gms !!!

300% cheaper than other rods and they look cool as well, they have dimples in them

Hi Bushie

As far as I've understood this post started because the head bolts on your tyre would puncture your tube ... I think ?

I don't know if you have to change the screws often, but if you do, a simple solution like a good silicone would do, and if you don't need to change them you could try to find a retreading company that has one autoclave and they could cover the bolts with rubber and then vulcanize it on the autoclave, so they don't puncture your tube.

If you have a company like that near you, with a nice guy working there, they could make all sort of corrections to your "strange tyre" and custom it to your needs.

If you lived a little closer to me I could make that for you ... but it's just a bit far from me :D

HI Zaga

thanks for your thoughts and your offer .... much appreciated :)

I have tried beautifully smooth and strong 13mm thick flexible polyurethane filler (sikaflex 221) over the top of lovely rounded bolts and used a 5mm thick tube but the punctures still occur from time to time but only in rocks

the problem is that the bolt (even if it is contained and covered by 13mm ) is much harder than the rubber which contains it so the mere presence of the bolt is the actual problem because it concentrates into a point loading

the fact that the narrow 2.15" rim makes the paddle/bolt hit the sidewalls as the Tyre is compressed is the nail in the coffin of the tube... it would be great to experiment with the ideas you mention and yes there is a MX retread factory about a days drive from here

so far the mousse has not gone flat .. we will see how long it lasts .. probably longer than the bolts

there is another option I have not tried and that is a kevlar reinforced paddle tyre made by Skat Track

http://www.skat-trak.com/sandpadl_main.html

one of the blokes I ride with told me today the video of my top gear roost gives the impression of being positively lame in mediocrity compared to what really happens behind the bike which according to him is like WW3 on steroids with cack eyed Borat firing rocket launchers off everywhere .. . bloody fish eye lens

have a tops weekend Zaga

Hi, thanks Bushie

With the mouse you'll be ok, just keep them lubricated to last longer.

With vulcanized rubber inside you would not have a problem, because it would seal, protect and hold the bolts. It's harder and much stronger then silicon, you understand.

Also if you seal the bolts, you can always go tubeless, there is a new gizmo that I've eared it work.

One question, can't you go without bolts ? What would happen ?

ZAGA

Did different air pressures make much difference to length of service? Like it took more miles to puncture when harder?
I am guessing the ice racers dont have rocks on their tracks hence the lack of punctures for them (my ? was... how do the ice spikes stay attached)
You could always ride a kawayamahonduki and use the extra weight to break the rocks (yeah i know im just being silly now).

Judging by the pics you have uploaded.... you need a hobby or a job or family or sumthing to consume some of that extra energy. Ah thats right, youve gotta workshop and a Husaberg.

you are probably right Zaga, i did try some huge heavy duty truck tyre patches about 6mm thick in 2 layers (12mm total) over the top of the bolts but still got punctures, the sikaflex was better .. its not silicone but yes a properly contained fully encased bolt should not be such a problem ... the head would have to be well anchored in the rubber so I could change the wear nuts on the outside

i also got the same kind of punctures (although less often) with no bolts  it was always a pinch flat right on the paddle. if you can imagine the cross section at the paddle and visualise what happens when you hit a rock .. you get the idea

it is not normal to run these tyres in rocks :)

20psi feels the best .. still some sliding is possible and yes longer life from the whole setup

without the bolts Zaga the paddles are completely ripped of in about 6 hours

with the bolts I have over 3000km on the paddle pictured so they are needed IMHO

Thanks for the ideas   i think these paddle tyres should be made with some kevlar shear webs inside the rubber of each paddle

family? I do have one somewhere ... can't remember where ive put it now ..... I had to throw a couple of empties at oxana again this morning as someone had eaten my porridge again!

Re your, ahem, "technical drawings "........ Took the time to study them carefully. Did you hire a heavily medicated, 400 lb transvestite engineer that has imaginary arguments with lucifer ? Or did oxana get the ***** with the moat and moat or beer can stonings and broke into your stash of engineers crayons ? You know the ones you used to draw the pattern up for the pocket edm Cnc 1.5 angle valve seat cutter. By the way it looks great except for the fact that it's total bollix, nice try but it's plain to see you know squat about cross sectional port density at half wet flow. Total claptrap I'm afraid.

ZAGA this is the X section

you can see how its a problem even with no bolts

if you have a 3.5" wide rim there is no problem

My sister Oxana is the most competent engineer in all Kazakhstan she does all my engineering design

thanks to her ingenuity and dogged persistence we now sell asymmetric oversize valves for the 650 that are the same size as oem once you get them in a round shape, a very expensive DVSK, a carb hyper ****** kit with an NKBT copy needle , an overpriced DVSK, a nice unobtanium plug that mostly works but generally only with super lean jetting, a really good DVSK, a 30% lightweight cam chain, a very long and good DVSK that doesn't fit in a stock head, lineaweaver/megacycle lX1 and LX2 copy cams, wossner 8583 pistons with the top machined out for more $$ than an elko OEM and of course an enormous amount of research has gone into our squat induction cans

she really is something .. a keeper for sure.. what she can do with those crayons is breathtaking.... although she did punch me in the teeth when I asked her about having half or full wet flow. is that some kind of "in" joke among engineers Bergsmlerg ?

Oxana won't be too pleased

she off to visit some rellies on the other side of the moat, now shes gone there is no one to clean my bike

so to pass the time Ive gone and done some inventing myself

Well isn't that some fancy pants bling right there. Only 275,000 euro plus vat plus post plus what ever last months whiskey overdraft was. A bargain at 0.50 the price I suppose....

" in joke " ? No no no......... You have missed the point my boy. Young know all know nothing's like yourself would do well to grovel and throw burnt offerings of bent plasticine valves at my feet. You know the valves such as you supply after they've been subjected to you early exhaust opening 355 degree duration " cough " power cam.
